This has really got me thinking: we just have to acknowledge the fact that our hormones do change as we age. The good news is we can take supplements to address this. As we also already know, the food we eat plays a big part in balancing our hormones, thus managing our energy.
I’m all for personal development and motivational/productivity tips but consider science and nutrition as a sure way to change your brain and body which then impacts your performance and energy!
Lately, I’ve been too hard on myself for not being so full of energy as I once was. I know I can psyche myself all day into believing that I just have to push on and block the thoughts which make me believe that I am ‘down’ and tired. Well, mindset does do the job, but a little help from taking supplements won’t hurt either. Our gut in fact is considered to be our second brain, so whatever we feed it with affects our hormones, which then affects our physiological makeup.
If you too are interested about women’s health, brain and hormones, I definitely recommend Dr Sara Gottfried, Dr Christiane Northrup (who I also wrote about previously), and Dr Amen. I warn you, your inner girl power will be unleashed when you read about them, and you just might want to be a part of the movement “Women can change the world!” 😉
